Those of you that frequent Corvette Online have probably seen a couple of news items explaining the cars in detail that are being raffled towards the end of this year. More importantly however, is the organization which the raffles will benefit and where you can expect to see your contributions make a difference.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley is giving away a fully restored 1967 Corvette Sting Ray and a brand new 2015 Corvette Z06. The winning ticket for the 1967 Corvette will be pulled November 7, 2015 and the winning ticket for the 2015 Corvette Z06 will be pulled December 12, 2015.
If winning your dream car isn’t enough, they are also including a $20,000 cash prize to go with each car. The charity will be displaying these cars at different car shows and events throughout the year. One of their stops will be at Barrett-Jackson in Palm Beach Florida from April 17th – April 19th. If you are attending the event, look for the red 2015 Corvette Z06 in the duPont Registry booth. You can enter to win this supercar for as little as $3 for one ticket.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley provides a “home away from home” for families while their children are being treated in a local hospital. The Central Valley Ronald McDonald House has 18 private guest rooms with two queen size beds, TV, and restroom. Guests share common living areas such as kitchens, living rooms, and laundry rooms. Each year, Central Valley Ronald McDonald House is “home” to over 1,000 people.
To keep their doors open, they rely on support from the public. Their Annual Collector Car Drawing is their biggest fundraiser. Over the years they’ve given away cars such as a 1965 Shelby Cobra, 1969 Camaro, 2005 Ford GT, and many more cars that anyone would love to have in their collection.
They have plans to grow in the near future to serve even more families who are going through such a difficult time in their lives. Now more than ever is a critical time to show you support and enter to win one or both of these amazing cars.
Those of us here at Corvette Online cannot express enough how important we believe in helping others. We understand that not everyone is always in a position to participate, but there are certainly a lot of us that are. Clearly we all love Corvettes, and would be tickled red and yellow to win either one of these awesome sports cars. So why not purchase a few chances to win one or both of these dream rides and benefit people that need our help in the process? We have several participants here, will be spreading the word amongst our own friends and families. We hope you will all do the same!
