The first mod many of us do to our cars is a cold air intake. We got with JLT and Brenspeed to install a JLT intake kit for a 2013 along with a custom tune from Brenspeed using SCT’s new iTSX. We then strapped the ’13 on our Dynojet and took it to Irwindale for some eighth mile track testing.

Battery charging is a critical part of race day maintenance as well as vital to taking care of your race car between rounds. We take a look at the Moroso Power Charger, which offers a sturdy design, intelligent microprocessor control, and 12 or 16 volt battery charging.
Swapping from carburetor to electronic fuel injection may sound difficult but we easily upgraded a classic muscle car using the FAST EZ-EFI. As you can follow along in the video, we completed the swap in short order with a light crew and common hand tools, and programming the ECU was easier than using a TV remote.

The fifth generation small block reintroduces the LT1 moniker – last used on the 1996 Corvette and ’97 Camaro Z28 – with a host of advanced technologies that Chevrolet says will make it the most fuel-efficient Corvette ever.
