Supercar Sunday Brings The Valley’s Motor Enthusiasts Together

This month’s installment of Super Car Sunday at the Warner Center in Woodland Hills was a success as it always is, and it’s always good to see the street rodders, muscle car and even the Ferrari/Lamborghini guys collaborate to make a fun and well-rounded venue for everyone.

As always, the GT40 and Daytona kit cars were as plentiful in the AMC Theater parking lot as were any of the Italian or German exotics, and they were among some of the coolest featured in the meet.

As you can see from some of these photo shots, ’32 Fords and other examples of old iron were also in attendance, and with all of this brute, American performance mingling with Euro tech, one has to imagine that the folks driving the built, American stuff and even some of the vintage pieces from Europe had to be extremely grateful that the meet was held first thing in the morning, as the Woodland Hills weather in the afternoon would not prove to be very accommodating.

Otherwise, we were happy to see a lot of “repeats” at this month’s Super Car Sunday, and believe that these reoccurring entrees will be at next month’s meet as well. Super Car Sunday is always a comfy-cozy kind of an atmosphere when it comes to rod meets and other car-enthusiast venues, and you’ll find that Super Car Sunday in particular is usually a great forum for networking with other custom rod and muscle enthusiasts, as well as an excellent forum for networking with others in the business of rod-and-custom press, as members of Hotrodhotline.com were also in the lot, looking at some of the great rides that the West Valley has to offer.

All-in-all, it was a successful event and one that usually brings our relatively small community closer together. Whatever you do, be sure to keep a look-out for next month’s installment of “Super Car Sunday” at the Warner Center!
