In the automotive industry, if you don’t keep up with the times you’ll stay behind them indefinitely. And for companies like Billet Specialties, well, they keep up with the times by reinventing the wheel — literally.

A recent venture into the Pro-Touring arena is their new B-Forged line of billet wheels with options that will provide something for just about anyone. These three-piece modular wheels are made with a forged 6061-T6 center that’s held to a spun aluminum shell with ARP hardware.

The lightweight wheels are available in 24 different styles, currently, with chrome, polishing, or powdercoating for the outer shell, and 12 different finishes for the center. For those who want to match a specific color, Billet Specialties can use a paint code to match the paint.

The center has a few options with regards to spoke shape, offering a contour-face, concave, or deep concave face, and for those who really want that extra deep wheel, the deep extreme will give that hundred dollar lip look.

The deep extreme takes advantage of the wheel design by extending the ‘legs’ on the spokes to move the wheel flange behind the mounting surface to give the extreme deep lip.

One thing about wheel design that many don’t consider is that in order to stay current there needs to be several new designs and styles, but the design team at Billet Specialties consistently come through with new ideas that keep the wheels turning.

Each custom wheel is prepped and hand painted to keep the quality and finished looking great, and with the custom colors available the finishes are nearly endless.
