If you’ve been paying attention, you know that we have been fans of EFILive‘s FlashScan tuning hardware/software for late model GM cars and trucks. Currently in their second version, FlashScan’s V2 device can license over 200 supported vehicles to scan, log, and tune every aspect of the ECU.
Now, the same device supports ’06-’15 Dodge Cummins-powered trucks with 5.9 and 6.7 liter engines. The software offers wastegate and VGT controls, rescaling of ECM sensors like rail pressure and boost, control over injection timing and volume for all three events (pilot, main, and post), as well as anti-tuning protection bypass for 2007-2012 models.
In addition to those tuning features, FlashScan V2 will also allow you to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, and when connected to your laptop, you can create custom-configured real time graph and gauge displays. The FlashScan V2 will also accept multiple external inputs for datalogging purposes, and offers a claimed three times as many parameters and five times the speed of any other logging tool.
The FlashScan V2 with the Dodge Cummins tuning option retails for $899.00, and as always, software updates are provided at no additional cost. Whether you’re looking for more power, better drivability, better fuel economy, or just want complete access to every aspect of your Cummins’ inner programming, the FlashScan V2 has you covered.
