L99 Camaro owners can add performance and style to their cars with new shifter products from B&M and Hurst. First up is the 2010+ Camaro Plate kit from Hurst that replaces the factory automatic transmission console plate with a CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum plate, mil-spec anodized black with cutouts on both sides for the gear indicator. The matching Hard Drive stick body is polished to a mirror shine, while the top handle is available with either a titanium-anodized contrasting finish, or a brushed aluminum finish that can be left as-is, or polished, painted, or anodized for a custom look. It’s simple to install and requires no modification to the stock console.
For 5th Gen automatic owners really looking to step up their game, B&M has developed a paddle shifter kit that replaces the small, hidden TapShift buttons on the back side of the steering wheel with ergonomic, easy to reach paddles, making shifts much easier with a wider range of hand positions on the wheel. The paddles require no modification to the factory steering wheel, and you won’t even need to remove your airbag or the wheel itself to install them.
