SEMA 2012: Airaid Reveals Their New Carbon Fiber Intake Elbow

There’s no getting away from the fact that the latest rendition of the current Mustang is a hot one: updated styling, increased horespower, and a few suspension tweaks keep the Ford pony car relevant. With today’s horsepower numbers continually climbing, enthusiasts need to stay ahead of the pack.

“We have a lot of customers looking for performance and style in one package, and this carbon fiber intake elbow provides both.” -Rodney Bertram

That’s where companies like Airaid come in, and they continue developing air intake systems for today’s hottest cars. However, since the current Mustang is largely unchanged from the previous two years powerplant wise, the folks at Airaid have already had a Coyote Mustang intake system in their catalog for quite some time.

What they did surprise us with is this new carbon fiber inlet elbow. Designed to work with either your current Airaid intake system, or to replace the factory setup, this new elbow offers improved looks, less weight, and increased performance over that of either of the aforementioned intakes.

It comes complete with all of the necessary hardware; including vacuum line connectors, and all of the clamps, making installation a direct bolt in affair. This would make the perfect performance/dress-up item for the enthusiast looking for both improved underhood looks and increased performance.

Impeccable quality and everything you need n terms of hardware for your late-model Mustang all in one package!

We spoke to Rodney Bertram about this amazing new product, and he was happy to tell us that “We have a lot of customers looking for performance and style in one package, and this carbon fiber intake elbow provides both.”

So if you’re in the market for increased performance for you 2011-13 Mustang GT, then check out this new intake system from Airaid today.
