Whether you’re trying to plant the tires around an apex at speed, or in a straight line on the drag strip, your vehicle’s suspension is absolutely key to its handling and overall performance. In particular, your springs have to be up to — and designed for — the task at hand.

The crew at Eibach Springs have springs and suspension components for more applications and racing uses than one can shake a stick at, from foreign to domestic vehicles, and professional road racing to street and strip vehicles. Here at SEMA, they have a wide range of new products on display, among them its new Pro-Kit performance springs for the popular BMW M3 and M4, and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, along with components for the new 2015-16 Ford Mustangs.

The Pro-Kit springs are designed for high-performance handling, and for those that take appearance into account, have the race-ready look to match. They are also designed for a low center-of-gravity (they lower the M3/M4 COG by 0.8-inches in the front and 0.2-inches in the rear), stop quicker, corner faster, and improve fuel mileage, all while delivering an excellent ride quality that you would expect of an aftermarket set of springs. On the Hellcat, Chrysler’s powerful new 700 horsepower road machine, the Pro-Kit springs lower the vehicle’s COG by 1.1 inches in the front and 1.2 inches in the rear.

… the Hellcat makes a lot more horsepower and is a whole new beast of a car. We definitely had to do some re-working of the existing designs to fall into what the Hellcat needed. – Jared Reyes, Eibach Springs

“The Hellcat kit isn’t much different than the existing kits that we’ve had, but obviously the Hellcat makes a lot more horsepower and is a whole new beast of a car,” explained Eibach’s Jared Reyes. “We definitely had to do some re-working of the existing designs to fall into what the Hellcat needed.”

Reyes shares that these are progressive-style springs.

According to Reyes, the company sold its entire stock of American-made Pro-Kit springs for the BMW on the first day they were made available, showing just how popular these items are going to be in the performance market.

On the 2015 Mustang front, Eibach has jumped right into the market, delivering its Pro Street-S adjustable ride height coilover shocks that feature a monotube design for maximum street performance. Eibach has designed them with easy ride height/corner weight adjustability, and all told, they can lower the Mustang one to 2.4 inches. They’re also showing off the Performance Stabilizer Anti-Roll Bars for the ’15s, designed for improved handling and reduced body roll. Eibach went to great lengths to balance the neutral-steering handling and the turn-in response with this package. They are engineered and calibrated to be paired with the company’s Pro-Kit and Sportline spring kits.
