Taking a different approach to the 2015 SEMA Show, Pypes Performance Exhaust had a different vision with its booth as a whole. Straying away from showcasing products, Pypes set up a recharge booth and wet bar, creating networking opportunities as well as a resting place from all the chaos at the show.
“This is our second year with this booth and it gets more and more popular every year,” said Dave Gerard, major accounts manager for Pypes. “If anything, we have a nice meeting place where we can meet with people and create networking opportunities. By providing phone chargers and free water, we are definitely taking a different direction than what is the norm at the show.”
Gerard introduced us to several products, particularly focusing on the newer Ford Mustangs. “New for 2016, we are expanding are product line for 2015 to 2016 Ford Mustang parts,” said Gerard. “We will be introducing long tube headers for the 5.0-liter Mustangs the week after SEMA. A V6 catback exhaust system is also in the works alongside several new catbacks and axle back systems.”
Focusing on the Ford Mustang, Gerard said the downpipes for the 2015 to 2016 Ford Mustangs were recently completed. On a side note, Pypes will be looking to revive its Jeep product line, as it has been successful over the years, as well as focus on the EcoBoost Ford F-150 truck applications, which are gaining more popularity by the day.
“It’s going to be a pretty busy year moving forward, but we are striving to bring several options to the market,” Gerard said.
