Sunday Elimination Notes
Tony Nesbitt overflow was puking oil on the track during Eliminations Round 2. Before it fired they were trying to soak up the oil. As it staged the track officials shut the car off. After debate they allowed Tony to break the beams and back the car up
Spiro Pappas stepped his game up during round 2 Eliminations with the fastest pass of the weekend in Super Street, 6.88 @ 205.
Furnace is running his first event in Nostalgia Pro Street and was qualified in the middle of the pack. He drilled Richart off the tree in Eliminations Round 2.
Bob Curran had a secret when he came to the line. One of his pistons had a hole in it. He was hoping that Tony Orts would break or red light. That was not the case as Orts on his third engine swap came up with the win.
Jeff Colletta and Butch Kemp were two guys that saved their cars in their solo eliminations run by breaking the beams and backing their cars out.
Jeremy Gillam told us yesterday that with his new transmission he was going to put the car on the bumper. Unfortunately for him it ended in wheel spin and Don Baskin took the win.
