Racing can be an expensive sport to play in. While the help of sponsors can help offset some of the costs, ask any racer and they will tell you you’re going to need some money to go fast. Well someone forgot to tell the guys over at P&G. A few of the engineers set out to build one beast of a Corvette. The only problem was in the funding department.
After buying a wrecked Vette and using nothing but junkyard parts they were able to build a monster Corvette with over 300 hp. The coolest part of this build though was the total cost of the build. The team claims that this cost them no more than $2000. If this is true I predict a movement toward junk yard racers happening very soon, starting with my car.
