One of the snazziest looking transmissions we saw was the brightly powder coated Prowerglide from Hughes Performance. With a 1.80 gear ratio along with a 1.69 option and a 1.57 on the way, this transmission features a large input shaft that is offered in a 1 1/4 and 1 1/8 size respectably with a 400 output shaft. This thing is built like a tank and is made to handle
3000 hp and beyond. This is thanks to it planetary gears as well as its one-sided friction clutch. The neatest part is the ability to customize your transmission with different powder coating options. While the official list of colors hasn’t been released yet, you can expect many popular colors and maybe even a few odd ones if we all beg Hughes enough.
