I think it would do you wonders to call the guys over at Ferrea or Scorpion or Comp Cams. You really need to talk to one or all of those guys. First, you need to get more springs and valves and lifters. If it bends, don't fix it, replace it! You might even need a new cam. I don't know, but that is my recommendation. It sounds like to me your Cam is just too hot! Lots of math and technical jargon at this point.
I have seen where people say you need special valve train and pistons for the SB2.2 heads.
So the question is, with heads already designed for your application, why did you get the SB2.2?
BTW, I thought Stan Justice was a Carb Guy in the GT40 market? Seems like you mentioned him several times, not sure what you mean by mentioning him so many times and in bold at one point.
