From a Viper to Camaro: Steve Kings new Pro Street Car


Steve King is using NMCA Bradenton as a first ever test session for his new Camaro. The Viper was 10 years old and it was time for a new car. The Camaro is much lighter then the Viper which allows them to run more competitively in an Unlimited race.




The Pro Street Camaro has 350 pounds on it to meet minimum weight. One thing that still remains similar is the 526ci Hemi power plant and Kobelco supercharger. On the first run, the Camaro made a hit to 250 feet, which is the furthest it had gone on full power.
