| I know it isn't a muscle car or hot rod, but it does have an engine. Hey guys, I have a 1993 Cadillac Seville STS with the Northstar 4.6L engine.
I have not ever worked on this type of engine before, but I am aware it is one heck of a job. Simply put. She has a bad habit of marking her territory with oil. And I have talked to a few mechanics, and they all say it is a 20+ hour job to fix. Basically they have to lift the engine and replace the oil pan seals at two different levels. My question is. Does anyone have any experience with this engine/car on this issue. Is it really a big job or is it something I could do in the driveway over the weekend with a few beers? Or am I best to go spend the BIG bucks and fix. Now keep in mind, this car is worth more in parts than it is together
Thank you,
