Barry Grant’s King Demon carburetors are designed to feed competition engines.
Why is it cool?
Barry Grant’s King Demon carburetors are designed to feed competition engines—chiefly big-blocks or big-inch small-blocks or high-revving small-blocks.
With flow ratings from 795 to 1295 cfm, they have either cast venturi or interchangeable venturi sleeves, as well as interchangeable base plates. Annular discharge boost venturii are employed in all King Demon carburetors as well as deep, streamlined air intakes, three-circuit billet metering blocks, and float bowls with sight glasses.
Technical:
Venturii sizes range from 1.50 to 1.838-inches and the throttle plate sizes from 1.80 to 2.10-inches. Further tuning potential can be realized with interchangeable air bleeds, emulsion bleeds and idle-feed restrictors.
For alcohol racers, BG offers a 1095 model. For Big-block street applications in a mild state of tune, the King Demon is available in sizes of 795, 895, and 995 cfm.
