For the past few years the has been a ever apparent rivalry built between the North and South drag radial racers. The south contingent headed up by Troy Pirez created the now much sought after Nitrous Heavyweight Championship Belt. While the belt has been held in the northern territory for quite some time, Hughesville Maryland resident Scott Bitzer has put himself back in the hunt for nitrous supremacy.
Bitzer campaigns a 1981 Chevrolet Malibu weighing in at 3360lbs with a
Charlie Buck Racing Engines big block of unspecified proportions. The engine relies on multiple stages of nitrous oxide for motivation.
Woolford Brothers handles the chassis duties while posting a best et. of 7.52@186. With much success in the last few races including a runner up at the World Street Nationals in Orlando Florida, Scott has made a statement that he is here to stay and should not be taken lightly. Bitzer says it would not be possible without his wonderful family,
TRZ Motorsports, Matt Suite and Monte Smith.
