Street Legal Drag Racer Billy Glidden has been racing in Pro Stock this year with an effort that can only be called Herculean. Whether in the Mickey Thompson GTO or in the Boscoe HVAC GTO owned by Robert and Jean Perry that he's scheduled to drive in this weekend's NHRA event in Houston - it is being done on a serious budget.
Drag racing has always been a labor of love for Billy - son of NHRA legend Bob Glidden. At times, with a small budget, he has dominated racing classes through pure effort and dedication even when he was outgunned from a fire power standpoint.
Now supporters on one of our friends website - YellowBullet.com - have begun working together to help support Glidden's efforts to compete in Pro Stock in 2008.

in this thread Cindy Edwards, better known as "BlueLady" on YB, has setup a paypal donation system for people who want to support Billy's Pro Stock racing efforts. This is likely the first in history a Pro Stock has tried to be partially funded by a message forum!

Billy had spoken on several occasions about YB members wanting to sponsor, or donate to his racing efforts. He didnt have a venue for this, so with his permission I have set up a Paypal account. Every little bit helps as Pro Stock is an incredibly expensive endeavor on your own.
