I can take the files from eigher and run them in the WinWep software and its not the basic settings. I think it maybe how the thing is configured to be honest but that is a major reason when people way I made 430 to the wheels, the question I would ask is Ok what did you run at the track ?

-R | I totally agree with - e.t. and mph do not lie. But I don't think there is much to manipulate with the dynojet. It's a pretty simple device from a technology standpoint. I am going to ask the guys at Dynojet. How much have you seen it vary? Are you sure this couldn't be related to weather conditions or maybe air flow through the shop, etc.? |

I alway use the SAE numbers, and Ill be going to the PMT dyno on dyno day soon, so we will see how that reads now.
But the same car that dynoed 405 at PMT dynoed in teh mid 380's at mcnews

Yeah, I am curious about the dynojet thing too. You may be on to something about set up. We have a dynojet here, and we are using a couple of the same vehicles as mules to run on the dyno and they don't vary. It's always a good idea to check your dyno regularly to see if there is a change, and when all things are equal, ours has not changed.
I would like to think that we take very good care of our dynojet dyno, and maybe that is another reason that you see a difference at other testing places. |
