The world of Pro Stock racing will not be the same anymore. Rumors are true that Jeff Chandler will no longer be running in that class. After missing the super bowl Chandler made the announcement. But this will not be the last we see of Jeff Chandler.
Chandler in addition to announcing that he is leaving Pro Stock also went on to say that he will be running in the NMCA Xtreme Street class next year. The reason he is making this move is what he calls diversity.
“Here in the south we have no RAM Racing NA Shootouts or a track like Milan that has a great monthly series for NA cars,” says Chandler. “If we did we'd probably stay put and continue to run Pro Stock.” No word on what car or set up he will be running but look for him to stay in the Ford camp. But on a side note, if anyone is looking to get into Pro Stock Chandler is putting his engine up for sale and is motivated to sell! “If there is no sale between now and Atlanta we plan on being there, but the sooner the engine is gone the sooner we can start working on next year,” said Chandler.
