It appears there is something new brewing for Mike Castellana and the Al-Anabi team inside the walls of Jerry Bickel’s chassis shop. The brand new 1970 Camaro has been completed with the teams trademark burgundy and gold paint scheme in time to hit the ADRL tour. The Al-Anabi team lead by Shannon Jenkins rolled from Bickel’s Moscow Mills, Missouri shop and headed to Gateway International Raceway for a test session.

The new state of the art Camaro features the sleek low slung body lines and plenty of
Reher Morrison horsepower on tap to get the job done. Its 800 cubic inch power plant is packed with massive amounts of nitrous coming from
SPEEDTECH Nitrous Solutions in the form of four stages. With a lighter weight coming into the
ADRL events it will allow them to be right back at the top of the pack with the likes of Jim Halsey. Castellana is no stranger to winning and will surely be able to drive the wheels of his new ride in the quest to the winner’s circle.
The team will also compete in multiple events with other organizations throughout the remainder of the season as they have with the old car. Castellana currently is in second place in the points for the Pro Nitrous category. He trails points leader Jim Halsey by 760 points.
