Straight from within the walls of one of the premier engine builders in the country comes another sick creation. Nelson Racing Engines has been in the highlights on our site many times for different engine combinations, but this one will surely top all previous. Nelson continues to develop cutting edge products for the racing world, in search of the craziest horsepower that can be imagined. The bad part is NRE makes those numbers a reality.

Nelson Racing Engines has recently designed and created their own line of engine blocks that are cut from solid billet aluminum. At this point, they have already successfully created a 707 cubic inch “Semi Hemi” that makes 4200 horsepower. That is right, 4200 horsepower from 707 cubic inches. The only thing that makes those numbers sickening is the fact that in the development process right now is a 810 cubic inch billet twin turbo monster. They were reluctant to speculate the amount of power that it can generate but we can only guess more.
NRE also has a wicked new small block in the works based off a small block Chevrolet that will feature a 32 valve high port head. They feel that the small block will easily run at 9500rpm safely. Just imagine what that will sound like in your street car cruising through the gears at 9500rpm’s. Nelson can be considered the Toys “R” Us for gear heads as their job is to make your dreams a reality.
