Another ADRL team is burning the midnight oil in preparations for the upcoming 2009 season. Team members of the Bankston Boyz racing are currently pursuing sponsors as well as finishing up contacts from the 2008 PRI show in Orlando, Florida. The Bankston crew has three Pro Nitrous entries that they are getting ready for action.
Driver Stan Allen’s 1968 Camaro has been thoroughly gone over to alleviate excessive tire shake problems in 2008. Reher Morrison has freshened the 827 cubic inch nitrous monsters with hopes to be back on track by January at Capitol City Dragway in Baton Rouge, LA.

In the meantime the car was fresh out of the paint shop and off to the Bank Plus Car Show in Jackson, MS. The new look surely drew massive attention as it took “Best In Show” honors. Bankston feels that his crew is at the height of their professional level and is ready to do battle with the best of the best in the pro nitrous ranks. You can be sure that a pretty new paint job will not throw off the likes of Jim Halsey and Mike Castelanna. These guys have one thing in mind and that’s championships in the ADRL. This season promises to be the best yet.
