Yeah its been VERY cool here. Rumor from a few teams is that the air was measured at 500-600 ft! But I'm not sure what time they did that, I think it was last night.
The wind has also been helping and hurting a lot of cars, but it's hard to say which ones.

Crash in E2
Butch Kemp, the number one qualifier this weekend in Pro Stock, rode a huge wheel stand when he lined up against Ben Mens who also had a huge wheel stand. Both cars settled down and it looked like all would be fine, then Kemps car shot left, going up on two wheels, over onto its roof, then crashing into the wall right in front of Mens who missed punting him into the sand traps.
Word it he is fine and was abel to get out of the car under his own power. Kemp is taking a trip to the ER as a percaution after finding that his helmet had cracked during the wreck.
We'll have the video up later, and big props to Mens for keeping his eyes open and safely avoiding Kemp car.

Quick E2 Notes
Troy Coughlin will be unable to back up his zMax win. The team failed to get the car started for the burnout and the starter was forced to send Noel Felton on a solo run into the finals.
Bill Lutz's car was leaking a small amount of oil from what looked to be the turbos, but we're unsure. His team pushed the car back off the line just before he was about to roll into the beams.

A Quick Word Heading Into the Finals
Here is the way the finals are set up right now.
Mean Street
It is going to be Don Baskin taking on Alan Von Ahnen for the Mean Street trophy.
Xtreme Street
It's been a great day for Xtreme Street with 17 cars that competed today. In the end though it is going to be the number one qualifier Chris Singleton taking on the number two qualifier Jamie Stanton.
Pro Stock
It is going to be the number 5 qualifier of Don Bowles taking on the number 6 qualifier Andy Schmidt who took out Ben Mens after Ben stood his car up on the bumper again in the semis.
Nostalgia Pro Street
Chuck Demory got a free pass against Barbara Nesbitt when her driveshaft fell out of the car and then knocked out Mitch Mika. On the other side of the ladder, Joe Bucaro had a bye run to Jim Widener who he beat. So it will be Check Demory taking on Joe Bucaro in the finals.
Street Radial
John Macaluso will face John Canella after Jessie Coulter and Tim Hendricks failed to get it done in the semis.
Pro Street
As stated before, Coughlin and Lutz were both unable to make a pass which set up Noel Felton and Chris Rini in the finals. Rini looks like he has overcome the shock problem he was having earlier today as he smoked the track with a 6.354 @ 219.44.
Super Street
Tony Nesbitt earned a spot in the finals by knocking out Bill Lutz where he'll face Nick Scalvo who beat Frank Mewshaw in the round before.

Results From The Finals
Mean Street
Don Baskin took on Alan Von Ahnen for the Mean Street trophy. Von Ahnen ran a good run, but it was no match for Baskin as he took home the prize.
Xtreme Street
Chris Singleton got the easy win when Jamie Stanton went red. Not sure if Singleton saw the red light or his car broke as he coasted down the track, but to victory none the less.
Pro Stock
Andy Schmidt upset Don Bowles who ran an 8.532 @156.20 MPH. But it was the 8.493 of Schmidt to take the win.
Nostalgia Pro Street
Chuck Demory couldn’t get it done against Joe Bucaro as Bucaro ran a 7.475 @ 179.89 MPH over Demory’s 7.754.
Street Radial
John Macaluso beat John Canella off the tree, and it was worth it as Canella went a faster 8.815 @ 140.41 MPH, but it was the RT and 8.820 @ 156.19 of Macaluso that made for the quicker package to take the victory.
Pro Street
Noel Felton and Chris Rini meet to decide the Pro Street Class. But as Rini pulled into the burnout box, disaster. The car backfired and they were unable to re-fire the car. Felton enjoyed the victory lap running a 6.525 @ 212.30 MPH.
Super Street
Tony Nesbitt earned his money in the finals today. He drove the pants off the car as it wanted to go every way but straight. His final time was a 7.360 @ 205.72 MPH, an amazing run considering he drove an extra 100 feet or so fighting the car left and right.
