I`m a kiwi (New Zealander) but have been based in Japan almost 18years.Bought up around V8 Holdens back home but not many of those here in Japan
I don`t have a specific drive at the moment but the family mover is a Nissan Elgrand.Recently sold my 500HP FD3S RX-7 and figuring out what to drive next.Drifting is big here and have become involved in that a little as well.Whatever it is, the smell of racing fuel, sound of a high revving engine and speed is all I require
Looking forward to browsing the site and awesome to see lots of V8.Nostalgia!
Stephen
Kiwi welcome to the site, all V8 lovers are welcome here.

Stephen. Thanks for the compliments on the site. We really enjoy what we do.
Holden/GM is what I was brought up around also. Just can't beat that SBC.
Yeah, the Japanese streets are a bit too small for the V8s, but you got to love the styling on the Japanese domestic cars. They all look like they are from the 60's. I remember most of them looking like GTO's and Barracudas but shrunk down with mirrors stuck way out on the fenders.

Good to have you here. If you can take some pictures of the current Domestic Japanese cars and post them, that would be great. It's a lot of fun to see how retro the styling is on some of the daily drivers they have.

Yo, welcome to the site. All you have to do is go and get a v8 and put it in your RX7. and you will be the talk of the town. Or go and find an old 240sx and do like what Mark the Editor is doing and put a big ass 400 in it and make it look like a "cough" Riced Rat Rod!

You could become a super star!

Can anyone help?Thought I uploaded 5 jpeg pics with listing above but noting seems to have come thru??
Regards V8s, since moving here I`ve also owned a couple of mid 90s 5.7l Trans Ams, 2 V8 dodge ram 4wd pick-ups and a v10 version as well.Sound of a V8 puts me to sleep at night.Would love to V8 a japanese car and have heard occasionally of guys doing it with Jap. V8 cars, but very rare!
Once I figure out how to upload pics I`d be happy to post pics of retro/different cars
Thanks a lot,
Steve

Kiwi,
You can upload your pictures to photobucket (www.photobucket.com) then copy the url link and put that link into your post.

Maybe one of our more computer savvy guys can give some better advice.

We appreciate your time and trouble in trying to post the pictures. All of us are eager to see them.

Bobby Kbro said it just right on how to get those pics up. Just make sure that you copy the bottom URL which is the Image Code and paste that into your post.

Good luck - I cant wait to see your Elgrand!
