A Photo Tour of Kalitta Racing

It is eerie to think that 5 days prior to Scott Kalitta loosing his life that I was standing in their facility in Michigan. I was in Detroit filming for Dart on an upcoming block video and to cover the NMRA Milan race. Dart wanted to add in a testimonial for a coatings we are doing for them.



Since Kalitta runs their coatings in their Top Fuel team, we stopped by to do a testimonial with Jon Oberhofer. While there I took some pictures of their operation. Their building is huge. To give you an idea of what an operation like that costs, they spend over $400,000 a year in clutch discs alone. Billet blocks by the dozens, pistons and rods by the hundreds,; this was a true candy store for any motorsport enthusiast. What you see here is only about half the size of the actual operation. Need I say more? I will let the pictures do the explaining.
