Kooks Custom Exhaust Systems for G8 and SRT8s
Kooks has released a brand new and very complete G8 exhaust system. It all starts at the headers, which are 304 stainless with an extra 02 sensor bung for a wideband. The tubing options are 1 ¾” and 1 7/8”. From there, the headers come back to a cat or non cat equipped 3” X pipe which connects to two flex pipes that bolt to the factory mufflers. The flex pipes help eliminate rattles that can be found when buying an aftermarket exhaust that is all solid. Kooks also offers a set of 3” 304 stainless Oval Race mufflers that are straight through in design and are made with stainless steel packing
’05-’09 SRT-8 High Horsepower Headers
If you are making serious horsepower out of your late-model Hemi platform, these may be the headers to answer your prayers. Same as the above headers, these are also made from 304 stainless that feature an extra 02 sensor bung for a wideband. The headers are 1 7/8” to 2” step that are designed for 600+ horsepower applications. The pipes are offered with or without cats and bolt to the factory exhaust.

Challenger and LS Crate Engine Superchargers from Procharger
Hemi Challenger Supercharger Kits
One of ProCharger’s most popular kits on the market is their Challenger system. There are two offerings for the Challengers: a HO and a Stage II kit. The HO is their standard kit that comes with a P-1SC-1 blower and a three-core intercooler on a shared pulley system. The Stage II kit comes with a larger intercooler and a separate drive system. The Stage II kit may be your answer for higher horsepower applications. The brackets on the Challenger kit will support F series blowers. Additionally, the Hemi kits all come with Diablosport tuners with a plug and play tune that is setup specifically for these blower kits. To cap it all off, a set of higher flowing injectors are included to help supply that extra fuel that’s needed. Look for a claimed horsepower increase of 150 on these kits, that are already available on the market.
LS Crate Engine Supercharger Kits
Let’s face it, LS engines are put into everything from imports to classic muscle cars; it is virtually impossible to make a complete kit for every combination out there. This is why ProCharger has released a simple supercharging system that includes the needed brackets, pulleys, blower, and belts to fasten everything from a P1 to F2 blower to your LS engine. When it comes down to piping and engine management, you will need to fend for yourself. The belt drive system will support up to 900 horsepower.
If your looking for ground crushing horsepower, ProCharger offers a cog style kit that will support all the way up to 1600 horsepower. Additionally, ProCharger has a bonnet and piping kit to route the blower to your carburetor in a non-intercooled fashion.

Complete Front Suspension Systems by Chassisworks
Your mid sized, classic G Body probably handles horribly and creeks when making turns. Most people worry about horsepower before proper handling; when it comes time to make that upgrade, Chris Alston's Chassisworks has a complete front suspension upgrade for G body vehicles.
The spindles are drop style that come in either one or two-piece billet, depending on your application. The upper control arms feature billet cross shafts. The lower control arms are designed specifically for use with their coilovers and not a hacked up lower that has been retrofitted.
The coilovers are offered in single or dual adjustable combinations with twelve different types of spring rates. The upper and lower arms allow for a 4-inch travel shock that is mounted to a grease-able upper pivot ball mount.

American Racing Headers G8 Kit
American Racing Headers has stepped up with a nice set of 304 stainless steel headers for the new G8 GT. This header-back system will be a direct bolt on to your factory G8 mufflers. They will also be offered in a cat or catless system and primary sizes from 1 3/4” to 1 7/8” with a 3” merge collector. American Racing Headers are just that, all made in the USA, down to the metal used for assembly. These headers have been a popular system for American Racing Headers and claim 35 wheel horsepower before tune and 55-60 wheel horsepower with the addition of an intake and tune.

Livernois Motorsports 3V Cam Limiter and Windage Solutions
3V Modular Cam Phaser Limiter by Livernois Motorsports
Under low oil pressure situations, the cam phasers in modular engines sound like a bent valve flopping around in your engine; since the rotating phaser is clicking against itself. When it comes to upgrading cams on a modular motor, an aggressive cam will cause interference between the piston and valve and requires a lockout that eliminates your variable valve timing. Truth be told by Livernois - there is still power to be had from retaining your cam phaser in a controlled state; thus they have released a phaser kit that limits the timing to a maximum of twenty degrees versus the factory 60.
The limiter also keeps the metal disks from clicking against each other with it internally sprung limiter. Livernois claims that you can retain 20 horsepower with the limiter versus a complete lockout. This will allow for more lift and a more aggressive ramp in your camshaft profile. The new phaser is made from an all billet construction.
Windage Solutions for Modular Motors
Livernois has designed these oil drain back extenders to empty the oil back into the pan rather than getting caught up by the windage from the crank. The drain backs come with a tap and is designed for a fresh build since you will need to clean metal out of the tapped oil returns. Additionally, they have developed a crank scraper that helps further reduce windage and keeps excessive oil off your crank.

RHS New LS Block and Racing Heads
RHS LS based 502 Aluminum Block
No your eyes aren’t fooling you and this isn’t a typo; RHS has gone on the map as a block manufacture by creating their first ever block - a 502 cubic inch LS monster. The dimensions are a 4.600 bore and a 4.165 stroke that is supported by a priority main oiling system. The pan rail has been widened to take the extra stroke while also decreasing windage; all surrounding the forged main caps.
There is a maximum deck height of 9.750 and houses a spun cast iron sleeve inside the aluminum block. The RHS block will accept any five or six bolt cylinder heads. The cam is raised two links (.388) and the cam tunnel will support up to a 60 MM cam. There are even provisions in the block for dry sump system that are easily accessible.
14 Degree Race Heads for Small Block Chevy
RHS has released their Pro Elite Small Block Chevy 14 degree head that is designed for circle track and nostalgia drag racing. This is a race piece that features massive, 235 CC intake ports and are expandable to 285 CC.
The chambers are CNCed while the intake and exhaust ports remain as-cast with a lot of extra material for those large porting options. The decreased valve angle allows for a more direct shot through the valve and the ability to run a flatter piston for higher compression. Chambers are offered in 42-47 CC and are designed for high compression applications.
You can receive these heads with the as cast 235 CC intake runners, P Ports with seats and guide holes machined or P-Ports with unmachined seats or guide holes.
RHS 23 “Style” Raised Runner Cylinder Heads
This is a perfect head for classes that require a 23 degree iron head. Most rules state that there can be up to two degrees of variance in the degree angle of the head. RHS has taken full advantage of this rule by creating a 21-degree, small block Chevy head from their Pro Elite series line. These heads come as cast with 220 CC intake runners that were originally designed for circle track competition.
The 21-degree comes from angle milling which aids in increasing the airflow through the turn. You can receive these heads with the as cast 235 CC intake runners, P Ports with seats and guide holes machined or P-Ports with unmachined seats or guide holes.

Neal Chance Billet Torque Converter
The one disadvantage of having an automatic car is all the drivetrain loss, especially from the heavy torque converter. Trying to find a way to lighten up components in your automatic's driveline will help decrease the amount of power it robs.
Neal and Marty Chance are known amongst the industry for their hardcore torque converters. Last year they previewed their new, all billet torque converter and this year they made it public. On the 10" torque converter, the total weight is 21 pounds while the 9" is 17 pounds and the 8" is 15 pounds. In testing, they have recorded over a tenth of a second decrease in the quarter mile on a Pro Mod car.
Due to being aluminum, this torque converter will work on anything except for a turbo car that can generate up to 900 degrees in the converter while building boost on the line. For nitrous, supercharged, and naturally aspirated combinations this will keep the aluminum from getting too soft from heat.
Check out http://www.racingconverters.com for more information.

Pertronix Acquires JBA
In a deal that was made solid less then two weeks ago, JBA will now be owned by Pertonix to join other exhaust lines, such as Patriot and Doug’s Headers. JBA is a 22 year old company that was mostly known for their Ford products but have expanded to all makes and have become extremely popular in the truck market.
JBA will still function the same in San Diego, with the only change being distribution by moving all the products to be sold out of the Pertronix warehouse. JBA will continue to grow their line of exhaust components and will still be offered in their three different styles of coatings.

Forgeline Wheels New 3 and 1 Piece Wheels
We are familiar with many of Forgeline Wheel’s offerings, but new for this year are their EV3R and EV1R wheels as well as one other brand new prototype that features an all-carbon fiber barrel! First, their new EV3R is a new competition wheel that follows the same three piece Grand Am winning formula of their older designs, but with a new edgier look that screams intimidation while still retaining the features often found in a competition wheel, such as large opens for impact guns to fit with out damaging the wheels.
The EV1R on the other hand follows the same design as the EV3R, but in a one piece design that is 20% lighter than the already lightened EV3R. Available in select 18” and 19” sizes, these wheels can be powder coated to match your application.
The EV3R Wheel
While it is just a prototype wheel, the new carbon fiber barrel soon to be available for select applications, is custom spun using long strands of carbon fiber vs. the tuner looking mesh fiber widely associated with many carbon fiber parts. The wheel is currently awaiting approval in many popular racing series such as the Grand Am series.
