Here's true story that happened to me when I was in the Corps.
I was walking down the street in Oceanside, CA., just outside the front gate of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, when I happened to see a young boy playing on the sidewalk with a pile of dog crap. It was probably the same boy that was in your story.
I asked the boy what he was doing? The little snot told me he was making a Marine.
Of course I was a little P.O.'d but I was respectful of the fact that he was talking about the Corps.
So I asked him; "Why don't you make an airborne ranger?"
The little boy said, "I can't. I don't have enough dog crap!"
