I think the thing is that you are paying for is the quality. There are plenty of fly-by-night part builders that have cheap parts. The problem is they are just that... cheap. You get what you pay for and I would pay for Edelbrock.

Oh, and back in high school my daily driver was a red and white v-stripe 1968 Ford Ranchero GT with a BB 390 with a 4 barrel carb and 498 heads and a c-6 trans and the power steering pump liked to mark its territory. Hard to find a rebuild kit for it when I had this car. I loved this thing. The sad part was it wasn't until recently when I was researching, I found out that there were only 1,669 of these made. Damn. I could of had myself a real classic! I will get another one someday, maybe make a clone.

Guys Look I'm not going to argue with anyone who thinks just because He spent a thousand hours pouring over every single overkill detail so you could serve a steak dinner on the underside of his Camaro and therefor now feel's he should be compensated to the tune of 50K what with his 6 DVD players and his XBox-360 riding shot gun Oh and lets not forget his Cool Dash mounted GPS ! Hey guys how many of you recall how you were looked down on when you pulled into your Girl friends drive way and Her father was there to tell you your Plug wires screwed up his TV set a block away as he referred to your car as that "THING" and asked if you could please park it down the street the next time you come over, Oh Yea Vic is a real Humanitarian letting all us Poor folks look over the Car's Our Money paid for while we purchase another Over priced air-crap Manifold ! It's funny I spent 137.00 for my Stealth intake manifold and about the same for My Team G. I wonder why so much difference in price ? Vic's Manifold for around 300.00 and My Team G for just over 140.00 Hemmmmm Must be I'm a Jackass !
