Do you have the Hemi fever? If so, then Walter Warner's hemi powered Charger will satisfy your every need. With the factory engine pumping out 425 advertised horsepower, the owner felt the need for more go fast performance.
A Power Performance Ported longblock was dropped in place of the factory Hemi, the engine now displaces 426 cubic inches. Backed by a
Southern Hotrod Transmission and a P1 converter, it has plenty of strength to harness major horsepower in the very near future. Modular Depot also outfitted the Charger with heavy duty half shafts and a
Quaife differential to keep traction up and broken axles down.
The supercharger setup that is currently on the car is a
RDP roots style that is pushing 10 pounds of boost. Modular Depot has stated that the setup is strictly temporary as they are awaiting the arrival of the new
SMS Twin Screw supercharger. Preliminary numbers from the dyno were 580rwhp and over 600 ft/lbs. of torque. The combination was not pushed hard due to the new supercharger setup that is to come.
Modular Depot says that the Charger is quite a handful on the streets now and with the SMS Twin Screw in the works, it will be down right insane. Stay tuned for updates soon.
