While its a cold and blustery weekend here in the northeast there are plenty of racers out testing new combinations as well as races happening in the south.
First piece comes out of the state of Texas with Todd Moyer who has been a long time 10.5 racer whom is stepping up to ADRL Extreme 10.5. Moyer has been working hard on his twin turboed Firebird and it appears that all is coming around. Moyer blasted off a 4.09 eighth mile time at over 188mph. The car had a 1.05 sixty foot.
Another highlight from the Houston Motorsports Park is Rob Valden in his Twin Turbo True Ten Five Mustang. Valden's 2002 25.2 Mustang sports a all aluminum 449 cubic inch Proline small block ford. With tuning help from the crew at Late Model Racecraft Rob wheeled the Mustang to a 4.64 @ 164 on a 29x10.5 tire.

The next action comes out of state of Florida at the Snowbirds race at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Kevin Fiscus has once again shattered the drag radial world record in his Proline Mustang. The engine is a 450 cubic inch piece sporting twin turbo's. The run happened in the first round of eliminations and clocked in at a 7.06@202. This comes after he had already ran 7.18 in qualifying.
The wild ride would come just a round later as Fiscus would have all four wheels off the ground and spin around and make contact with the wall. The damage is unknown but Kevin is okay. Look for more on this car very soon.
