World Street Challenge Sunday Coverage
Bracket racing has begun on this final day of racing at the World Street Challenge here in St. Louis. The wind has picked up a little today but the sun is shinning. The track has the timing system working again, and we should be ready to rock for round one of eliminations around noon.

There is not much action in the pits this morning. All of the number one qualifiers are still in the trailer or setting on the ground with no activity in their pits. Tony Williams is still working on their motor change from yesterday. The Aruba team is working on some transmission changes on their pro mod car.

Note: In Drag Radial, Jason Lee's first round matchup is broke, so Lee is already in the finals!

Jeff Dickey and Mark Micke did not like not having the title of fastest Procharged car so in the first round they stepped it up with a 6.26 at 224. They will face Conover in the second round.

Number one qualifiers did not have the best luck today. Jason Hamstra hurt his car last night and was unable to make the call for eliminations. Tim Lynch had trouble on his bye run in eliminations as did Jason Lee. Tim Lynch has broken his second transmission in his last two passes. The Lynch Mob crew are thrashing to have it changed before round number two.

Grant McCreary made the fastest pass in Pro Outlaw 10.5w. He ran a 6.71 at 216 against Chuck Samuel, who ran his best of the weekend with a 7.13 at 209.

Tony Akins had difficulty getting the drag radial car to build boost as he is staging. When he was bumping into the beems he bumped it too much and was given the red light. He will have a three step in car before the next NMRA race to help prevent that from happening again.

John Urist set the low time for the first round of eliminations with a 7.45 at 190 and felt the pass was about as good as he could do. He also said they are only getting five passes on his slicks before they will fail the width measurement.

Keith,

No problem but it has been a team effort by the PowerTV staff.
