There are many sub-cultures in the automotive world, though perhaps none spark as emotional a response as “donks”. Easily identifiable thanks to their flashy paint schemes and massive wheels, donks have become the focal point for a whole lotta Haterade from people who simply don’t understand or respect different tastes in automotive mods.
And yet, there are some donks that are almost universally reviled, even among donk afficiandos. The appropriately-named website DonkSnob turned us on to an abomination of a Dodge Challenger SRT8 that has been modified to ride on 32-inch wheels. Yes, you read that right…32-inch wheels.
While this massive lightning-bolt wheels are by far the worst part of this donk, the awfulness does not stop there. In what world does this color combination of aqua blue-green and yellow work? No world, that’s where, and we can only imagine what kind of suspension modifications were required to fit this offensive wheels to this once-noble car.
Look, we’re all for expressing yourself and doing whatever you want to do to your car. But the inside is just sickening to look at, even if the fiberglass work is well done. Seriously, why are there two touchscreens, an iPad, and perhaps even a third touchscreen or television mounted on top of the dashboard? Why did the owner have to do this to a SRT8 Challenger? Maybe it is just a badge and this is really a Challenger V6?
So many questions. No answers. This, friends, is what awful looks like.
