The movie Back to the Future has changed the idea of time travel indefinitely. Now, thanks to the Hollywood hit, generations of movie and car fans will forever have visions of tire-squealing, flame laying, flying DeLorean DMC-12s when it comes to modern time machines. So, what better way to portray a time machine in a music video than by using the same DeLorean concept? Well, that’s exactly what The Limousines, an indie electronic musical group out of California, have done for their song “The Future.” Fitting? We think so. Check out the music video above compliments of Ridelust.
The Limousines is made up of songwriter and singer Eric Victorino, and instrumentalist and producer Giovanni Giusti. The two-man group got its start back in 2007 and is known for their unconventional music that combines indie, rock, pop and electronic music genres.
In their music video for “The Future,” the duo travels back in time using a Back to the Future-style DeLorean. While many of us would use a time machine to go back to happy times, the two men find themselves in a world full of death and tragic accidents starting with the two crashing head first into a Porsche and being ejected from the car.
