There is nothing wrong with modifying your car for more power. Unfortunately, California and their emissions standards don’t quite agree, making it difficult for Californians to experience the extent of power-adders on the market. Well, that’s about to change. No, California did not lift or reduce their crazy emissions standards. Instead, ProCharger has answered the cry of Californians for an emission-friendly supercharger. Enter the CARB certified ProCharger High Output Intercooled Systems for the HEMI platform.
The CARB certified ProCharger High Output Intercooled Systems will fit on all cars made between 2005 and 2010 with a 5.7L to 6.1L engine, as well as all 1500 series trucks with a 5.7L engine made between 2004 and 2008. These emission-certified systems mean you can run a ProCharger supercharger on your late model Ram truck, Charger, Challenger, Chrysler 300 or even Magnum in California without having to worry about whether or not you’ll pass emissions.
Just because the CARB certified systems are emissions friendly doesn’t mean that they produce any less power than other ProCharger systems, however. In fact, the Intercooled Systems provide the largest power gains possible. What more could you ask for from a supercharger system than producing maximum power gains while being 50 state legal?
While the CARB certified High Output Intercooled Systems for HEMI vehicles are a great addition to their supercharger lineup, ProCharger is far from done when it comes to making emission-friendly products. ProCharger will be doing more emissions testing in the near future to bring CARB certified supercharger systems to the market for Ford and GM vehicles built through 2012.
You wanted an emission-friendly supercharger California, and ProCharger has answered.
