Does any vehicle better represent the values America holds dear than the pickup truck? We certainly don’t think so. There is no machine as rugged or versatile as the American pickup, and this great nation owes much of its greatness to pickups. And just as they can build, a mighty pickup can also destroy, as this next video clearly demonstrates.
With a chain tied to a support beam and a mighty Dodge Cummins diesel 4×4, the house in this video never stood a chance. It gives the phrase “bringing down da house” a whole new meaning.
Demolition may seem like an easy job, and on the surface, smashing things is pretty easy. But how does one bring down a house, without bringing it down on your head? That was the conundrum faced by our amateur de-construction workers, who obviously wanted to clear this small plot of land of a rundown house that seems all too commonplace these days.
So, simply put, they tied a chain or strap around support beams within the building itself. It takes them three tries to get the house mostly-collapsed…but honestly, we couldn’t think of a better way to have done that. Sure, they had to go back into a partially-collapsed house to retie the chain, but it got the job done, and entertained us with this YouTube video. Now if only those guys would come to our hood and take care of a few blighted properties that have been bothering us.
