Cherry Bomb glasspack mufflers are one of those classic speed parts that everybody should have on their car at one time or another. Though they’ve been around for as long as any of us can remember, they’re not frozen in time – they keep coming up with new stuff, and they just released new side pipe mufflers: A 4-inch diameter, 36-inch long glasspack case with a true 3-inch straight through core, a 3-inch flange, and a side outlet.

Here’s the thing about these sidepipe mufflers, though – Cherry Bomb clearly intended these for the hooligan/hot rod market (their motto is “Disturbing the Peace Since 1968” for heaven’s sake!) but we took one look at them and realized that they’re perfect for track cars that need a muffler to keep the neighbors happy. Bolt them straight to the headers with the outlets pointed down, and just like that, you’re helping to keep the peace! Maybe not quite what Cherry Bomb had in mind, but we won’t tell them what you’re actually using them for if you don’t.
