The recent economic crunch has proven too much for many companies who had to close their doors the past few days. The American automotive aftermarket has been particularly hard hit as many companies suddenly found themselves without clients. But some companies have weathered the storm, and have gone on to celebrate important benchmarks in their history.
One such company is Chris Alston’s Chassisworks, which this year celebrates an amazing 25 years in business. And with their current product lineup offering some of the best suspension parts in the world, we wouldn’t be surprised if they manage to go on another 25 years.
Chris Alston founded Chasissworks back in 1987, but his experience dates back to a decade prior, when he first built his door-slamming drag car. His unique look at how suspension affected all aspects of a car’s handling, including drag cars, helped Alston launch something of a muscle car and hot rod revolution. Now no build is complete without a hopped-up suspension, and Chassisworks offers over 7,000 different parts for various vehicles.
25 years in business is a notable accomplishment, especially in an industry where shops seem to pop up one day and disappear the next. But when you have solid products, legendary customer service, and a quarter-century of business experience, customers aren’t likely to abandon you, no matter what the economic situation looks like.
Here’s to another 25 years of Chassisworks!
