If the love of your garage life is selected as this year’s winner, you can win a trip to be the Grand Marshall of Hagerty’s Tour of Lemons on August 18, 2012, in Monterey, Ca.
If you find yourself perpetually explaining your vehicle to others, giving it seemingly undeserved praises at the shock and awe of others, this is the contest for you. Maybe it’s your first car ever and you have a sweet and bitter memory and you can’t seem to part with it, or perhaps you started with a lemon and you gave it your own personal touch to bring it back from the brink of wrecking yard heaven.
Whatever the story is on your ‘sweetest lemon’, Hagerty wants you to send pictures of you and your prized possession, and explain in 250 words or less why you think your car deserves the honor of being “America’s Sweetest Lemon”. The winner will be provided with airfare, transportation and hotel accommodations, and Hagerty will provide transportation for your very own “lemon”.
