When was the last time you saw a 2-door post wagon of this era Mopar?

Attention gigantic fin fans! A great example of the last year of winged wagons from Mopar is available on Craigslist. Check out this extremely rare, mint green, 1960 “no option” two-door model with 44,000 original miles out of Bakersfield, California.

It’s running a big 440 CID V-8 with all sorts of speed goodies. TRW forged pistons, Chrysler Purple Shaft cam, Edelbrock Aluminum heads with Sharp roller rockers, Max Wedge X-ram intake manifold with two Holley 450’s, Complete MSD distributor & ignition and Pro Torque starter.

Wait there’s more. Cal Custom valve covers, two Cal Custom “injector style” air cleaners fitted with K&N filters honed out for maximum air-flow. All this is connected to 727 Torqueflite with overdrive, 4.10 gears and positraction.

Exterior looks tough with no front bumper, big meats out back, skinny Torque-Thrusts up front and gasser style fender well headers with dumps behind front wheels.

New green guts inside with fresh door panels, painted dash,  window trim and new front glass. Vintage tachometer, auxiliary water temp, amp and oil pressure gauges. N.O.S. correct original seat covers.

We can’t remember the last time we’ve seen a 1960 “Forward Look” two-door Exner wagon and this one is said to be road ready for the strip or highway. Whether it’s worth $29,500 remains to be seen although seller might trade for ‘50s Studebaker or Packard hardtop.

Best part? Chances are good you probably won’t see another one at the next Mopar show and shine.
