In the crazy modern world we now live in, some folks want disclaimers about “triggers” that may upset or traumatize them.  This trend fomented on college campuses across the country and is now a valid excuse for missing an exam, going crazy or killing your dorm mate. “Hey I saw a picture of pig on a spit at a Luau in the cafeteria and it triggered a deep seated anxiety and I couldn’t complete my homework… If there would have been a disclaimer that the picture was on campus, I could have avoided it and not “triggered” my anxiety…” Um okay.

Having said all that, we’re warning Tri-Shield fans these pictures may “trigger” extreme anxiety. Okay?  Still with us?

Some poor guy recently lost his two mid-size Buicks, a ’69 California Gran Sport and ’72 Skylark Sun Coupe. According to owner of the two cars, “A solvent tank caught fire and took the whole building and both cars. Both are now scrap metal. I did save the fresh 455 w/stage 1 heads that was in the Gran Sport.” Yay on saving the 455, boo to the rest.

Which bring us to the topic of collector car insurance. Maybe it’s time to give your agent a call and go over your policy?

We don’t give insurance advice but if it were us, we’d start asking questions like, “Is my appraisal up to date?”  Or “What happens if my car burns but is rebuildable, am I covered for diminished value?”  We’d even ask for an update regarding fire coverage, just sayin’.
