When Chrysler introduced the world to the Dodge Challenger in 2008, it was fully expected that a convertible version of the revived muscle car would be coming any day. Alas, it was never to be, and much like there was never a convertible Dodge Charger, the Challenger would be locked into coupe form forever.

That is, unless, you purchase today’s eBay Find of the Day, a unique 2008 Dodge Challenger Convertible complete with a supercharged HEMI V8 good for 600 horsepower.

Mr. Norm’s Garage is a well-known name in the muscle car world, dating back to the heyday of the horsepower wars. For the 2008 SEMA show, Mr. Norm stunned the world by bringing a drop top HEMI Challenger to the show, dropping jaws (and the roof) and capturing the imagination of muscle car fans the world over.

That was over three years ago now though, and today that same Challenger droptop can be found on eBay, up for auction. It’s the first of its kind, the showcar (others may or may not have been built, we’re not sure.) Suffice to say though, this unique whip will make you the envy of all your Mopar friends. With an asking price of almost $90,000 though, exclusivity don’t come cheap.
