1967 was the Summer of Love, it was the year of the Monterey Pop Festival and the year this Ford racing machine hit the streets. This 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 is a mint survivor that currently resides in Dallas, Texas. The Galaxie still has it’s original 390 cubes of Detroit muscle as well as it’s original C6 automatic transmission.
Believe it or not the Galaxie has working air conditioning. It’s equipped with the original 1960’s system which still blows cold. While an original 139,000 miles may seem high it’s not bad for a car that’s about to turn 47.
This Galaxie is sure to turn heads with it’s aerodynamic lines and stacked head lamps. The white paint is in solid shape with a few minor chips. The metal trim is all there, though some of it is worn. The car sits on it’s original white wall tires and still has a dealership badge on it’s rear.
The all leather interior contains two leather benches, leather door paneling, a fully working dash and the automatic on the tree.
Not a scratch on the leather seats.
The 390FE V-8 under the hood looks a little worn, it may need a tune up but it still runs and drives. For only $9,900 this 315 horsepower, 427 lb-ft of torque Blue Oval race car can be yours, the 1967 Ford Galaxie currently listed as a buy it now option on eBay. It will be perfect to take on weekend cruises, go to car shows or rebuild for racing. Remember: things are never bad when you have a Galaxie 500.
Thanks to it’s aerodynamic styling this car looks like it’s moving even when it’s still.
