Hemmings Auto Blog has a stolen car alert for a 1970 Ford Maverick out of Warrenton, Missouri. The power of the internet can bring a lot of people together in a short time, and maybe someone can help locate this stolen car for its owner.

The owner of this 1970 Ford Maverick, John Chandler, said it was stolen between 3 pm and 7:30 pm last Friday. This is John’s description of the car.

“Features include: front fenders and valance are welded together to form a 1-piece front clip, shaved door handles and key entry, shaved antenna frenched into rear quarter panel, side marker lights all shaved, front hood flips the opposite way, front and rear spoilers, disc break front end, 302 w/ 6-71 blower dual Holley carbs, C-4 auto with stall and shift kit, aluminum  radiator, Weld wheels 15×6 and 15 x 10 multi-lug wheels, gray cloth interior, all the chrome and stainless are show quality. The color is bright orange with metallic green flames extending into the door area. VIN is OK91T310878.”
