Official Release:

QA1 is proud to add new front sway bars for second-generation (1970-1981) Camaros and Firebirds to its line of suspension products.

QA1 sway bars are designed to provide significant handling improvements over factory sway bars by giving your chassis the stability it needs to keep your tires planted on any road surface. These sway bars bolt to the factory location as a direct replacement, providing easy installation with no cutting or welding required. Made from hollow core 1 3/8” O.D. USA-made 4130 chromoly steel, they are formed by CNC tube bending to ensure precision fitment, then finished with a gloss black powder coat to provide lasting durability and corrosion resistance. The sway bars also include greasable polyurethane bushings and high quality plated hardware.

These sway bars complement QA1’s existing line of products available for 1970-1981 GM F-Body vehicles, which includes Stocker Star non-coil-over shocks for the front and rear in double, single, drag “R” series, and non-adjustable options; front coil-over shocks and Pro Coil Systems in double, single, and drag “R” series options; front control arms in both race and street configurations; tie rod sleeves; and sub-frame connectors. These products are all available individually or as full-vehicle suspension kits for either performance handling or drag racing applications.

Each sway bar is engineered by QA1 to provide the best handling performance. All sway bars are manufactured in QA1’s Lakeville, Minnesota facility.
