The LGT-700 five-speed manual transmission from Silver Sport Transmission quickly took the classic car world by storm when it was released a few years ago. The company is now proud to offer their new PerfectFit kits for the LGT-700 that when installed give your ride the factory correct shifter location and driveline angle.

A few years ago, Legend Gear and Transmission rocked the automotive aftermarket with a compact 5 speed capable of handling up to 700 lb-ft torque and 7500 RPM shifts. He referenced his extensive classic car database to design transmission kits that are adaptable and compact, including modified tailhousings and custom shift positions. When a kit is labeled “PerfectFit”, it means the shifter will come up in the console in the factory position, the driveline angle is correct – like it came from the factory. These kits are exclusive to Silver Sport Transmissions and haven’t been available since December 2013.
