Silver Sport Transmissions and Spraker Racing have teamed up to provide complete bolt in kits for rear end axle assemblies. Jack Silver, CEO of Silver Sport Transmissions, explains why upgrading a classic car’s drivetrain is so important:
“With all of the engine and transmission upgrades available these days, it only makes sense to upgrade the rear axle. It seems like everyone we talk to has 500hp and a 40+ year old open differential just won’t get the job done. Common problems in axles this age are worn gears, worn bearings, twisted axles and possibly even twisted axle housings. Upgrading your rear axle along with your transmission will give you the best possible combination of overdrive and gearing. Pairing Spraker Racing’s proven axles with our PerfectFit manual and automatic overdrive conversion kits is simply a natural progression for our company.”
Silver Sport Transmissions offers complete GM 12 bolt and Ford 9” axle assemblies for GM F body, A body, G body, C10 and Tri-Five applications. Ford and Mopar applications will be added in the near future. Each assembly is fully tested and comes with a 12-month guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.
