Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational: Second-Round Qualifiers

Optima is prepping for its annual Ultimate Street Car Invitational just one day after SEMA; the largest convention for aftermarket accessories. The Invitational takes place just a short-jog from the Las Vegas, Nevada convention center at Spring Mountain Motor Ranch. This state of the art racing facility in Pahrump, Nevada holds the honors and opens its gates during the first week in November. the Invitational is a prestigious event and attracts some of the top automotive talent, highly modified vehicles, credible racing veterans and fresh talent with undiscovered street machines.

This event is held to show the world that these one-off, highly-customized vehicles can really perform as well as they look! The Ultimate Street Car Invitational takes place on Saturday, November 5, 2011.

This year, with the BFGoorich Hot Lap Challenge, Ridetech Autocross Challenge, Wilwood Disc Brakes Speed Stop Challenge, and the Raybestos Performance and Design Challenge with the Detroit Speed and Engineering Road Rally (November, 4 2011) they’ll be a little something for every race fan.

Previously, this highly-exclusive event was closed to the public. However, with much consideration, the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational is opening its doors to the public for the first time ever! These spectator tickets are limited but can be purchased by visiting OptimaInvitational.com through November 4, 2011 or until they’ve sold out.

Second-Round Qualifiers

With the Ultimate Street Car Invitational just around the corner, Optima has just released the second round of qualifiers. We can’t wait, the field looks like a competitive bunch with the first round including Mark Stielow (2010 Optima Ultimate Car Invitational Champion). This new round of drivers included some seasoned pro’s, enthusiasts, and newcomer builds.
