With many parts of the country experiencing continuing blasts of chilly winter air, Jack Frost has made his arrival known. Snow and ice and a wet, wintry mix of the two has hit just about every state except for Hawaii and Florida, which signals the end of driving season, and the long countdown to spring. For some it means lots and lots of snow shoveling to look forward to, though it doesn’t have to be boring, backbreaking work.
If you have this Ford 302 V8-powered truck-mounted snowblower, plowing the driveway might even be downright fun. Bangshift came across a Wisconsin craigslist ad selling this V8-powered snowblower. There will be no more worrying about blizzards with this piece of mind in your yard.
This 8-foot snowblower is some commercial-grade material, capable of clearing most driveways in just one pass. The motor is a ‘1995 roller-camshaft motor, one of the good ones that will go forever and ever if treated right. The snowblower motor has its own tachometer, oil pressure and temperature gauges, though overheating isn’t likely to be a worry for this machine.
The motor has been wired to operate via the cab completely, though the sweet-looking ‘77 Ford F350 pictured in the photos is unfortunately not for sale as well. Even at just 1,800 RPM, the seller claims the blower launches the snow far and wide, though doesn’t recommend using it in a city, or really around people. It’ll take $4,900 to buy this ridiculous contraption, but you’ll never have to worry about shoveling the driveway again.
