Few things spark a guys attention like muscle cars and the Playboy Mansion. Last weekend, those two things were combined at the annual “Muscle Cars at the Mansion” event in Los Angeles, California. With a personal invitation, the good guys over at RideLust took their ‘69 Dodge Daytona tribute car to display, and we must say, judging by the pictures of the party they posted, they sure had a lot of fun.
The annual Muscle Cars at the Mansion event gives about 40 owners of impressive rides a unique opportunity to display their muscle cars, hot rods or motorcycles on the lawn of the Playboy Mansion.
This year the event took place on October 15th and benefited the It’s All About the Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization that strives to advance the lives of children through music and the arts. Ticket holders to the show had access to Mansion tours given by Playboy Playmates that included a look at the animal sanctuary, back yard, Hef’s game room and the famous Grotto, where show-goers could swim.
They also had access to full food and alcohol bars as well as round trip transportation to and from the event. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, especially with all the nice cars around.
According to RideLust, their black Daytona tribute car was well received and saw quite a bit of action at the event. In fact, the guys caught a few shots of girls posing atop the huge rear spoiler.
While the event would definitely be a sight to see for any gearhead, we don’t think we’ll be shelling out the $750 to $825 for a ticket next year. We wouldn’t pass up an invitation though (hint hint). For more pictures of Muscle Cars at the Mansion, check out RideLust’s website.
